It is one of the many beautiful statues in the “Domaine Chavat” in Podensac near the river Garonne. François Thevenot bought this property in 1914, restored the gardens which hosts many beautiful statues, including this one.
This statue is about twice life-sized, and the white marble is so pure that it is difficult to scan and volume is difficult to read in shadeless mode. The few specs of green are due to moss on this outdoor statue.
This work was commissionned by the french company Socra, as a preliminary scan before possible restoration of the statuary of the park.
