Here’s an older model I built for the Star Wars Clone Wars TV series. It’s from season 2 Episode 17 “Bounty Hunters”. It’s has a rough painterly diffuse which is fed straight into the bump channel, and little to no gloss, as was characteristic of that show. The mesh is fairly high res for a realtime asset as it was built to be automatically subdivided during the rendering process. In this assignment we were asked to creat a WOW inspired weapon.
I found this assignment quite challenging at first, I wasn’t familiar with weapons and so coming up with a creative design that fit the brief took me longer than expected. However, in the end, I am pretty happy with my outcome.
I chose a coral/deep sea theme for my weapon and thanks to this I was able to play around with lots of fun colors and the presentation.
