This is a pile of lit coal I made as part of my final blacksmith environmental scene in my 3D Modeling course. This pile was placed in the lower area of the firepit. The process consists of modelling a low poly version, from which a copy is made with a very high dense mesh where details are sculpted in, later baked onto its low poly counterpart.
