When I was a child, I wondered, how pirates started to build their pirate island of Tortuga, and what made it an island-sized pub. At the time, I thought they were in a shipwreck and instead of asking for help, they started shedding. Then several people joined them and this is how this franchise came into being. Of course, I was a kid then. Today I know that to form a monopoly on an uninhabited island, a very lucrative business … Yeah … I was a little weird child. Don't worry, I stayed the same as an adult … Fun stylized challenge. Low poly modeling with Maya and textured with Substance Painter. Hello there !
The previouw scene was a WIP, I wanted to push it a little further
This scene is the final version about the Ntamak Island, originally illustrated by Fabrice Nzinzi, with its detailed texture, finished models, placements and Lighting
I spent a lot of my freetime doing this project, and I am not gonna lie, I am super proud of it :)
It was the opportunity to learn the HandPainting process within Photoshop.
I may have made a lot of errors, but at least I learnt a ton of things about it and I am a lot more familiar with it.
This project is now finally done ! :)
