This model was quite a challenge. Initially I made a texture baked version but when importing to sketchfab, didn’t quite work out the way I wanted. So I’m currently just uploading a plain version.
I thought of this concept a long time ago, finally with modeling help from my colleague Thuy I was finally able to do this project. She is a rockstar.

I wanted the entire scene to feel like the cover of a vaporwave album, and even added some music to fit in with the scene. Hope you guys enjoy the different take on it.

As for edits, I applied a lot of noise while lowering contrast and harshly color balancing it to fit with the blown out vaporwave colors. I also applied some emission and chromatic aberation to add a distorted light effect.
Truly a fun experience to see what exetremes can be done with the 3D editor!

This time I wanted to simply enhance the stylised look with some complimentry lighting, and a nice vibrant sunsent seemed to work a treat!
Beyond the basic light setup, I added a background to match my colour scheme and a shadowcatcher to grab those long end of day shadows. This is model was made for my 3D modeling exam. I struggeled getting the materials to export properly from Cinema 4D, so the shading might look a bit flat. This is a set I helped create for a mobile game title. I handled the optimization for, and implementation into Unity 3D. The model is entirely self lit using a single light map on it’s secondary UV channel.
Tasks preformed include geometry reduction/optimization, lighting mapping, and custom shader work for Unity 3D. Original model and diffuse maps were created by John Dyer and Skyler Greencorn.
