bunratty Castle is a large 15th-century Irish tower house located in the centre of Bunratty village between Limerick and Ennis, near Shannon Town and its airport. the present structure, was built by the MacNamara family after around 1425. At around 1500, Bunratty Castle came into the hands of the O’Briens (or O’Brians), the most powerful clan in Munster and later Earls of Thomond.In 1956, the castle was purchased and restored by the 7th Viscount Gort, with assistance from the Office of Public Works.He reroofed the castle and saved it from ruin. One month assignment. The goal was to make a next-gen character, ready to be implemented into a game. I really wanted to make a scifi character in his combat suit. I was inspired by Star Citizen, but Halo’s designs are really the best ones for this. For the process, at first I made the lowpoly model in Maya, then I went to Zbrush to subdivide it and put all the details needed with my own alphas. I baked the highpoly model in susbtance painter, and then I tried to make several smart materials to texture the whole character. I also did 2 different camos, because I needed a character that could fit in my upcoming space station project. I also rigged my character with my own auto-rig, therefore I was able to put it in several poses.
