Whoa, it’s been a really long time since I’ve posted anything here. So I thought I’d post a little personal fan art project here again. This is my final assignment for my Stylized minor at DAE Howest. For this assignment we had to make a game and/or animation ready model based on a chosen concpet. I chose the original Lizalfos design for the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword by Nintendo.
The pipeline involved sculpting and polypainting in ZBrush, manually retopo in 3dsmax, bake and add materials in Substance and finally run again through ZBrush for posing.

In this re-imagining, the triforces are swapped so Zelda is Power, Gannondorf is Courage, and Link is Wisdom. From the descriptions and comments surrounding the original designs, these three are not sword enemies but unlikely allies at least for some part of the story.
