This project was modeled in Blender 2.9x and textured with Substance Painter. Creating the armature while I was in the block-out phase of 3D modeling really helped me get the transformation correct. Zeta Gundam combines my love for mechs and aircraft into one. I created this incorporating all of my favorite features from the countless variants of Z Gundam. Excited about the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition? Well, I am for sure, so I had to make some fanarts to ease the hype!! Here is a recreation of the new Monado design shown in on of the latest trailers for the Future Connected epilogue. I only had the trailer as reference, so I had to use a bit of imagination for some pieces and proportions, and for the open/close mechanism too!
This was a very exciting hard-surface project, and I loved working on it. Stay tunned for more fanarts coming in the future!
