I thought it would be nice to use it in for a scene, then it occured to me that Christmas is just around the corner, so I threw in a seasonal message in the animation! So, I decided to use this diorama school project as a way to explore what 3d can offer and how it looks it other completely different styles.
I went on a completely different direction from my first project (treasure chest) going from a some what realistic hand painted to the most stylized texture I could do. I decided to do cell shading for this one, although cell shading material doesn’t export to sketchfab I decided to duplicate every object and flip it’s polygons to give a similar ilusion, ence the diorama having the double of the budget tri on sketchfab. Hello everyone,
This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing. My wip reimagination of Stuntman Ignition’s Dodge Power Wagon-based monster truck. I updated design with proper four link setup and replaced comically small axles with 5-ton military axles and 20-ton Clark planetaries. ‘91 Unnamed style swaybar and ‘88 style pan hard bar. ‘94 Untamed helicopter landing gear struts for shocks.
Everything modeled by me, uses repurposed resources from my Untamed-project and cockpit of Virginia Giant.
