Recently I had the unique chance of seeing some of Ryden’s best work at an exhibit near me, and meeting the artist himself!
All of his work is really special and a very encouraging opportunity to have fun adapting his work to 3D.
This little model was made using Blender and Photoshop.
The sci-fi space suit was the coolest part to do, I especially love how all the shapes combine together.
The baby was rigged then posed last to fit the tummy in its fetal position.
I kept the textures high quality 4096, drew out some of the shadows staying true to the paintings style and colours.

This is a character I’ve made for my game entry on the Epic MegaJam 2019, a gamejam hosted by Epic Games, in wich participants had to make a game based on a given theme in seven days using the Unreal-game-Engine. On top of this, there was a modifier category called Space Cats, for the best game incorporating “Space Cats”, and so after several days lost jumping from one idea to another and since the given theme was “down to earth, i decided to try out and make a graphic adventure about being nice with others. starting out as a sketchfab mini comp, this has slowly become a bit of a project that I keep chipping away at and I think I’m finally ready to call this done :)
So presenting… my take on Hook and Smee from the childhood favourite ‘Peter Pan’ presented as a cocker spaniel and a pug, they did it for the musketeers so why not this.

This is my game ready mesh of Spinosaur with custom pattern. I really like dinosaurs and after completed Monster Hunter I had a lot of inspiration there, so I decided to create one of my favourite monster ;) In this model I tried to make realistic model as much, as possible.
I want to make the bestiary of my creatures that I created.
According to my interpretation, the Spinosaurs lives in the highlands near the volcanoes. Their pattern growing on their back effectively deters other predators and thanks to this they can easly hunt their favorite meal. They weren’t big, but certainly belonged to the most aggressive and most bloodthirsty dinosaurs, they never let a prey escape from their sharp claws.
