This diorama is created by myself using Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. The animations were also created by me using key framing in Maya. I had so much fun modelling and animating this, I learnt so much throughout this project!

Another 1 and a half week project of a medieval heavy crossbow. Inspired after a portfolio critique and been wanting to create a medieval/fantasy inspired piece for some time now.
Modelling done in Maya with certain detailed parts such as the wood carvings and stock ornaments done with the help of Zbrush and photoshop. Textured with substance painter and rendering done on Unreal engine 5.
This might be my last project in a while since I have an actual full time job that I have to attend to, however I will be back with more projects in the future and will keep on improving my skills as required. This one was both equal fun and pain to do. :) Been really getting into stylized modelling lately and trying out new handpainted techniques. Who ever said painting grass is ez lied! Oh it’s easy it’s just on a plane....wrong!! Even color picking was a pain as it didn’t suit the models....haha.
