This is my submission for the street food challenge hosted by @rosiejarvis I had a great time making it. My theme is about a fruit vendor cart. I wanted to keep it colorful and simple. Originally, this was a logo design that I made for #KPPLOGO contest (when Kyary achieved her 5 year as a musical artist). Didn’t win, but I like the concept enought to make a 3D version.
The idea consist in a giant living cake/ice cream that eats everything that cross it mouth. There’s lots of sweet things around since Kyary stuff usually looks that way. The cake eating a cloud or the cream vortex swallowing a cherry might not be so sweet, but her art have those details quite often.
This was made in Blender for modeling and Substance Paint for texturing.
Textures range from 512x512 up to 4k.

This is a bust of Nefertiti from Assassin’s Creed Origins DLC “The Curse of the Pharaohs”. I’ve made it in two weeks as pressure test for the academy end of the 2nd year project.
Nefertiti’s face fidelity and bands around the body were the main challenges I had to face. I took references from the iconic Nefertiti bust from Egyptian Museum of Berlin, in order to replicate the exact face and crowned head shapes.
Since academy contest was about Aliens Vs Undeads, I turned her face in a limestone piece as suggested from the official AC Origins DLC cover instead of her golden mask just like appears in the game.
I learned a lot from this exercise and understood where I have to improve for the next challenges. Any type of suggestion and/or critique are appreciated!
