Pseudomalachite is found in oxidized zones of copper deposits. This sample comes with radial fibrous and concentric inner structure, and reniform/botryoidal surface.
The name Pseudomalachite comes from the Greek for “false” and “malachite”, because of its similarity in appearance to the carbonate mineral malachite.
