These buses are Canadian-built Chevrolet C-15 trucks that the British Army used extensively from about 1939 to the independence of Burma in 1948. There were a lot of these trucks left over from the British, so the Burmese converted many to become wood body buses. At Yangon they become “39 Bite Pu” meaning “39 BigBelly” and at Mawlamyine “No.7 Bus”. I looked at retro and classic car and plane designs to get the initial concept done, and the design process snowballed into what you see here. Specular and Normals are a little rushed but they do the job. Geometry created in 3DS Max.
