La catedral de Le贸n fue dise帽ada sin claustro, pero finalmente se levant贸 entre finales del siglo xiii y principios del siglo xiv. Esta construcci贸n cubri贸 la entrada norte que, desde entonces, qued贸 resguardada. Este claustro tiene una planta cuadrada de 30 metros de lado, posee seis intercolumnios por lado y 24 pilares en total, respondiendo a las proporciones establecidas en los claustros cistercienses. A su alrededor se agrupan diversas dependencias, entre ellas, el actual Museo Catedralicio.
