KNOCKER WHITE is a traditional Thames tug, built in 1924 by T. van Duivendijk, Lekkerkerk, Netherlands as CAIRNROCK, for Harrisons Lighterage Company, London. She was traditionally steam-powered. She later passed into the ownership of W. E. White & Sons, Rotherhithe, and in 1960 was renamed with the nickname of one of the White family. She was converted to diesel power with the installation of Petters engines, and alterations were made to both the funnel and wheelhouse. In November 1982, she was sold for scrap, and parts of her engines were removed. In 1984, after a 60 year working life, she was reprieved and became part of the Museum of London Docklands. The device was designed as a straight-seam machine for sewing light- and medium-weight fabrics such as canvas, silk, wool, and cotton. It stitched forwards and in reverse depending on the position of the seam control lever. The direction of stitching could be changed while sewing. The arm was cast in cast-iron and weighed around 14 kg. A small inspection hole was placed at the back of the machine arm. The needle arm mechanism was covered with a shield. The KL 82/83 model presented here resembles the design of Singer #15 and Pfaff 30 machines. The devices were manufactured in two colours: black with gilded patterns or, as seen in the unit presented here, in a hammered grey coating. The machine has a motor socket, which suggests that it could be adapted to use electrical drive.

This model was made based on the history of the coin. Like Bitcoin, which was discovered by Satoshi Nakamoto (When referring to existing sources), I mdae the model in the form of a “Ronin” (Japanese Culture), or what we know as a Samurai without a master. And remembering that Bitcoin is the world’s first crypto coin, I made the texture seem old. Still, I gave it a golden nuance and athletic body proportions as a form of visualization to suggest that the character is a sacred figure, even like the figure of the God of Crypto. And this model is the OG version of all alterations you can see in MetaMundo.
