Imperial Guard barracks for a Warhammer 40,000 mod I'd like to create. While I referenced numerous 40k images, I also drew a lot of architectural concepts from photos of French and German cathedrals and fortifications from the Atlantic Wall. Model was created in Maya. I did not expect this one to drag so long as in the beginning I was merely remaking the miniature version.
I have to design the whole thing from the ground up, from the size of the barrel, its bullet all the way to how the magazine can actually insert into the gun.
I stick the design as closely to the miniature as possible and spend most of my time figuring out the mechanic.
4K texture and 2 versions. One slightly wider to look more akin to the miniature.
