My Wild West cowboy is finally finished and I absolutelly love the result! It took me some time to get this as perfect as possible, especially the colours were quite the challenge with this one. For my final assignment character creation I went to the whole pipeline from high poly sculpt to a game-ready, textured model. This is the final version of my first 3D assignment for Howest DAE.
I had a lot of fun working on it, especially the texturing, as we were now allowed to use anything like substance painter, marmoset etc. Everything had to either be done in photoshop or maya and we could pretty much only use an albedo and some transparency. It was a challange to get the textures looking good without any roughness or normals, but I think I learned a lot from it.
