3D model of Ardrossan Castle during the 1st week of the Exploring Castle Hill Excavations of 2019. The model was captured with photos taken on two seperate days and with visitors and diggers milling about but Reality Capture software has filtered much of this noise out and blender was used to edit out any problem area’s.
Exploring Castle Hill is part of a Cultural Heritage and Archaeology Project being led by Northlight Heritage for Garnock Connections. The Project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic Environment Scotland. The chamberlain looked after the lord. Similar to the lady in waiting, he would assist the lord with dressing and making sure that he was comfortable. He might also have responsibility for the livery of the lord’s knights, making sure that the lord’s coat of arms was showing. He would also look after the castle finances.
