This is my improved environment from a previous compulsory. I was originally going to use normal maps tht I made in 3DCoat, but they looked awful on the towers that I instead went for a less detailed approach, with larger focus on colour.
The rings and moon are all animated to be slowly floating up and down, in 3 different speeds (they also glow). The large creature that pierces through many of the spiral clouds, is a mix between a Furby (spesifically the Long Furby meme) and the length of an asian dragon. Model of a Ghost from the Halo series for the third assignment in my modelling class at university. UV is extremely messy due to the retopo not being ideal, but that aside, I’m extremely happy with how it turned out, looking incredibly accurate to the in-game model and material.
