Hey. Happy to present you the latest character I’ve been working at for the last month. Made for the Untaimed: When Animals Ruled the world, Artstation community challenge. Original concept provided by Mikel Rekondo, you can check his work here.

Modeling in Blender, sculpting in Zbrush, cloth simulation in Marvelous Designer, texturing in Substance Painter. I also took some Quixel stuff for making the tablet which I haven’t included here.

I was inspired to make this rubber hose style model of my own character! It also made for some really good practice for rigging noodle joints in Blender! I learned a lot from this. Y’know I’m a little surprised it took me this long to make something in this style in 3D. I love this style! and I used to attempt to draw a lot when I was kid!
