This is the Egyptian Revival Style mausoleum of Emil Winter in Pittsburgh's Allegheny Cemetery. The model was created using Agisoft's Photoscan Pro from 80, 18MP images taken on July 19, 2015 using a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and a 18-55mm lens. Still a work in progress with additional detail to add and geometry to fix. The mausoleum was built in 1930 and is a nearly exact duplicate of the one designed by John Russell Pope in 1920 and built for department store mogul F. W. Woolworth in Woodlawn Cemetery in New York. https://alleghenycemetery.com/content.php?cat=genealogy&page=mausoleums&mode=detail&id=15137 For a detailed model of the left sphinx, see https://skfb.ly/FNPM If you ever have the opportunity to visit Pittsburgh, Allegheny Cemetery is an absolute must see. Goal: increase overall texture quality and polycount reduction (possible by hand decimation to optimalise final quality and polycount)
Mausoleum of the Krupp family in Berndorf. Two days before his death, Hermann Krupp and Mayor Mayer determined the place where the family grave should be built. This tiny stone building, which I’ve referred to, possibly mistakenly, as a mausoleum, was spotted as I drove past the churchyard. It’s a bleak and foreboding little place and has good access for photogrammetry.
I took 56 photos from my phone to generate a decent point cloud and then used Blender to “trace” the dimensions of the object in very simple geometry.
Then used the normals and diffuse from the photgrammetry model to get this low-poly version 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 112 polygons.
