This digital reconstruction depicts an early medieval brooch found in 2022 by a metal detectorist in Wiltshire - United Kingdom. The brooch was made using a coin (penny) dating to the early 1050s CE during the reign of Edward the Confessor (1042-1066).
Interestingly it was the reverse side of the coin that was displayed when the brooch was worn - presumably because it had crosses on it and as such was a form of religious badge.

The game was created in a 48 hours Game Jam 2017 organized by Rocket beans TV (www.rocketbeans.tv). My part was creating the level design, objects and implementing those into the engine. The programming was done by Vincent Uhlmann. We created the game in the Unreal Engine 4 and imported some assets from the Unreal Marketplace.
