Aka: A Crappy Animator - 3
Making tests to animate the dolphin kick movement, in order to later recreate freediving underwater scenes.
The model and armature were created in makehuman, and animated in blender using keyframes.
As the movement was irregular, I had to use “Smooth keys” operator in the f-curve editor, which gave pretty good results although it reduces the amplitude of the movements. This Modell features every exterior detail very close to the original (Including the fictional brand stickers)
Under the hood it features the same type of suspension and Engine as found on the Original. And some improvised stuff at places where i couldnt find any reference for.
The suspension is kept low poly and is easy to animate.
