Arctodus 3D sculpt
Arctodus, commonly known as the short-faced bear, was a remarkable genus of bear that existed during the Pleistocene epoch, approximately 1.8 million to 11,000 years ago. Members of this genus, such as Arctodus simus, were among the largest terrestrial mammalian carnivores ever to roam North America.
Arctodus was characterized by its distinctive short and robust facial structure, which contributed to its common name. The shortened snout and large nasal openings are believed to be adaptations for enhanced respiratory efficiency, possibly aiding in cooling during periods of heightened activity. The limbs of Arctodus were also relatively long, suggesting adaptations for swift movement.
Recent studies have suggested that Arctodus had a diet more similar to that of today’s ursids, that is, a primarily omnivorous diet that included the consumption of carrion 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 14244 polygons.
