Hello ! I wanted to model what, for me, is an exceptional design and an outstanding console: the Super Nintendo in very details ! Please choose HD textures for the best experience ;-) Blocked by lack of technical knowledge, I followed the hard surface tutorial of Gleb Alexandrov & Aidy Burrows. Excellent tutorial thanks to them ! My goal was to realize a realistic Super Nintendo on every little details of this gem, from screws to textures, from pictures I took of my console. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it (and sorry for my poor english ^^). This is a Model of the original XBOX 360 released on November 22nd 2005 and does not contain the installable hard drive at the top of the console.
This model was created in Blender and textured in Substance Painter. I first created a high poly model of the Xbox adding in the circular vents into the mesh. I then moved to making the low poly version removing unnessesary vertices so the details can be baked later. I kept the indets of the power button, disk drive and back sockets as they were far too promminant to be baked to an effective and visual standard.
