Hi all! This is a project I've been working on for around a week and a half. I was set a project by my University to create a “well" in any style. I've always loved how stylized/hand-painted assets look in games such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends etc. So I wanted to take it upon myself to attempt this style. I'm overall happy with the final design, although if I were to spend more time on it, there are a few things I would refine. Modeling, layout, and Texturing of a late medieval queen’s room.
From inspiration my wife drew, I wanted to take a sketch she did and build it in 3d.
I’ve always been drawn to environment and prop modeling and sculpting, so this was a great learning process. I cycled through modeling about 5 or 6 different tables before I finally settled on the ones seen here.
