Spartan Elite Linothorax Linothorax is an ancient Greek shell made of linen cloth. It was also known in other parts of the ancient world. Such armors have probably been used since the Mycenaean period, and from the end of the 6th century BC they became the standard armor of the hoplites. Compared to the bronze armor, linothoraxes were lighter, cheaper and less restrictive in their movements, while providing a comparable degree of protection. In this project l I experimented with creating complex rig for the robotic suit (learned how to set up IK, apply movement constraints, and how to deal with cables etc.). I also wanted to try out a more complicated hairstyle, so I did a Google image search for “Badass Hairstyle” and ended up settling on a variation of the dutch braid. This time around I also made sure to maintain more consistent pixel density across the various textures. I sprinkled a bit of French all over the model to make it more Canadian.
