Masque en bois noir mi zoomorphe, mi anthropomorphe. Les décors sont mis ‘en relief par une alternance de couleurs rougeâtres et d’incisions effectuées sur le bois Le front porte une petite crête, précédée d’une décoration de motifs géométriques gravés. Le nez est étroit et les narines sont évasées. Les yeux sont des incisions ouvertes. Les arcades sourcilières ainsi que les scarifications sont en relief sur la sculpture. La gueule est allongée et se termine en talon plat, fermé. (…) Les oreilles sont matérialisées en ailerons gravés, rectangulaires (…). Sur la tête, se trouvent deux cornes arquées séparées par un petit motif, découpé en peigne.
Ce masque est un « Gpelihe », reproduit pour le collecteur de la Mission.
