Hypostyle hall of the Hathor shrine at the temple of Hatshepsut was the most difficult part of the photoscanning project from scientific grant “Dialog” (under directory of Jadwiga Iwaszczuk PhD, founded by National Science Centre of Poland for collaboration of IKŚiO PAN (Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures, Polish Academy of Science), PCMA UW (Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archeology, University of Warsaw) and Ministry of Antiquities of Arab Republic of Egypt.
Model was created from 5159 photos taken during a one hour of light gap per day, when the temple is covered by the shadow of the mountain in the late afternoon, but with still enough light for sharp images. The dedicant Archandros, before an alatar, expresses his veneration to three Nymphs. The horned Pan emerges from a cave at top left.It was found in 1876 in the vicinity of the Sanctuary of Asklepios but it must have belonged to the nearby Sanctuary of the Nymphs and Pan. It is mended of five fragments and restored.
El dedicante Archandros, ante un alatar, expresa su veneración a tres Ninfas. Pan con cuernos emerge de una cueva en la parte superior izquierda.
