When CERES scientists manage to bring this Alpha Predator to life in a top-secret project during the Global System War, they do not realize that they have created much more than a biological superweapon. This 3D model of the terrestrial, predatory Sphenosuchian Junggarsuchus sloani (IVPP V14010), from the Middle Jurassic Shishugou Formation of Xinjiang, China, has largely vertically oriented temporal muscles like many of its crocodylomorph ancestors.
