The bare chassis was ordered from Detroit through the Edelweiss Garage – being the local Cadillac dealer in Morges, beside Lausanne, Switzerland – by Philippe Barraud, son of William Barraud and nephew of William’s brother, Maurice, both wealthy Swiss industrialist who had “built” their fortune in red bricks and roofing tiles.
Philippe had a local Swiss coachbuilder, Willy Hartmann of Lausanne, create and build for him a custom 2-pass roadster on the V16 chassis. He used the car intermittently between 1937 and the early 60s. I am proud to present my latest 3D model: a bust of Dorian S. Nakamoto, a man whose name is similar to the Bitcoin inventor. The texture of the bust is inspired by an engraving technique used on one dollar bills. The model also includes a fractal blocks layer representing the true essence of Satoshi.
