Cuneiform is the world’s oldest known written language developed by the ancient Sumerians of Mesopotamia in the 4th millennium BC. The inscriptions were made with reed styluses to impress some 900 different logographic, syllabic and taxographic signs into moist clay tablets.
The text dates from the third dynasty of Ur (Ur III, c. 2100-2000 BC). The original text that was impressed on the tablet has, for the most part, been rendered illegible by a seal that was stamped over the surface.
The seal appears to have belonged to Shara-bazige, a scribe who was employed by Ur-Lisi, governor of Umma, a city-state in southern Mesopotamia and a key center during the Ur III period. Le arpe e le lire di Ur sono un gruppo di strumenti musicali a corda risalenti a circa 2.500 anni prima di Cristo e rinvenuti nel 1929 durante gli scavi condotti nell’antica città sumerica di Ur, nell’odierno Iraq, dall’archeologo statunitense Leonard Woolley. Si tratta dei più antichi cordofoni di cui si abbia testimonianza.
Gli strumenti, ricostruiti, sono conservati in tre diversi musei, il museo nazionale iracheno di Baghdad, il British Museum di Londra e lo University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

This is it my first game character I make in 3D, and I finally finshed :D
After months studying with the course Anatomy of Rafael Souza (And another ones along the way, like game hair, render on marmoset, etc), I have finally finished this piece, where I made it everything from the scratch, trying to capture the concepts from Prince Of Persia Warrior Within (One of my favorites games, hope Ubisoft make another game). This was the hardest piece I’ve ever worked on, where many time I haved to redone some parts to get it right, but it was very fun to learn all the techniques (in sculpting and real-time) necessary to make it.
