This work is based on a Sketchup-file. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of its author. Anyway, thanks for the great model! Several years ago I converted and repaired it into a watertight STL-file. Sadly the resolution of the model is only useful for printing in small scales. My purpose is to provide watertight STL-files for you, which can easily be modified for 3D-printing, according to your references. Therefore, most of my models are not repaired into one single shell. This may be a bit more difficult for the preparation of the build, but helps you a lot, if you want to personalize the model. E.g. if you want to seperate parts, such as wheels or to remove delicate details like wipers etc. Before printing, please check out if you have to modify the model, depending on the favored size of your print and the requirements of your printer. This is a vintage drill I bought at Kortrijk eco shop and tried to replicate it as realistic as I could.
I couldn’t find out what kind of drill it was, but I do know it was produced in West Germany so probably during the Cold War era., which explains why I can’t find it BUT if you find it let me know!!
i made this in fusion 360, then zbrush, switched to maya for retopo and textured in substance painter
