FULL BREAKDOWN “The ancient blacksmiths forged great armors from the souls of sealed demons and the bones of fallen dragons. In dark rituals this armor is bestowed and fused to an innocent and pure unnoble sacrafice. The treated metal corruptes its victims over time into demigods of incredible magnitude with an insatiable hunger for conquest" This is a model I made for fun and for a portfolio piece. I wanted to push skills, push design, try some new game modeling techniques I had been testing, and to express the glamour of dark temptations. Modeled in Zbrush R7, painted in Substance Painter 2 and Zbrush, UV'd in Haitius UV Layout, presented using Sketchfab's awsome portable engine. This project is roughly 4 weeks in the making and is by far the most fun I’ve been with modeling a character. I modeled this in Zbrush and modeled the props and weapons in Maya. Hair was a bit of a challenge but I was inclined to keep it simple. I textured Ram Warrior in Substance Painter and posed him in Zbrush using ZSpheres.
