My submission for the first Low Poly challenge of 2021! The combined lighthouse and windmill provides the Lighthouse Keeper with an excellent view of the surrounding reef, unfortunately it lighthouse no longer works as intended, meaning there have been a few… mishaps over the years. Though we are assured that it certainly wasn't the Keeper's intention! The crows nest provides a convenient way to cut across to get those fresh seagull eggs in the morning, and the diving platform provides a nice way to keep entertained through those hot summer days. There's plenty to do and see - a fishing platform, covered to keep you protected from the midday sun, the odd wreck and legend has it there's a treasure chest that's been pulled on shore! 🍄 My stylised Mushroom Lighthouse 3D model for my first ever #SketchfabWeeklyChallenge! I was inspired by fairy tales, cartoons and such. I wanted to make something really different and unique around the theme and I’m pretty happy with how this turned out. Modelled in Maya. Textures hand-painted in Photoshop. 🍄
