A little scene created for the Little Cabin Challenge from Sketchfab, insipired by the woodcutter’s house from Zelda Breath of the Wild !
This was created in a couple of days as I just discovered that Sketchfab did challenges a couple of days ago ahahaa !
This is my first time uploading to Sketchfab and participating to a challenge like that, that was quite a fun experience that I’m really excited to make again !
If I had more time this is what I would have improved :
More details on vegetation and globaly on the scene, on the house especially (by creating an interior for example !)

Pretty long and arduous project - especially on the technical side. I tried very hard to make a mesh that’s optimized but still with sufficient triangles to remain pretty. I was aiming for around 30k tris, and while i slightly overshot, it’s still a personal W for me. A lot of learning in this one.
In the end it’s totally worth it to see my fella all grumpy and wobbling in 3D space. There’s really nothing like making something from scratch, from concept to engine, all by yourself. Feels good !
