This Project refers to a Ukrainian burlesque poem Eneida (Ukrainian for “Aeneid"), written by Ivan Kotliarevsky. I decided to make one or may be more of it's characters live as a character for a game. This is 3d model of Hephaestus or Volcānus, the god of fire and smithery. Optimised, low poly version of my Jordan 4 model in 5 colourways. The mesh uses just one texture set that covers both shoes and each shoe has a polycount of 24,167. This version would be ideal for in game use, or as an accessory to a render where the shoes are not the focus. The high detailed version of this model can be purchased here:

This stone tool was found in ploughsoil in Kent, England.
Quartzite pebble hammers with cental hourglass perforations date from the Mesolithic (c.8000-4000 cal BC). The perforation on this example was made by pecking and was subsequently ground smooth. A wooden handle woud have been inserted through the hole and that was probably bound in position. Small pecked facets on the leading edges indicate that this tool was used as a hammer; it may also have functioned as a weight on a digging stick.
