In anticipation of the newly released FOR HONOR hero Black Prior, I’ve created this variation of his signature sword and shield set.
The blade “Searing Light” is a longsword flamberge that is shown in the trailer but no longer in the game (The hilt and blade are divided into 2 different weapon.) I love the design and decide to make one that’s similar. It is made of mainly silver and steel, carnelian as gem.
The shield “Black Sun” is a kite shield made of mainly soft iron and wood, with gold and steel cast upon it. It’s one of the most complicated decal I’ve drawn to date.

I started creating the piece shortly after watching The Last of Us series. I Sculpted the bust in ZBrush, Retopologised and UV’d within Blender, textured him in Substance Painter and rendered the bust using Toolbag 4. I created the bust to demonstrate organic texturing inside of Substance Painter for WCG students and shared the files to allow them to practice the techniques for themselves. Sake Gourd (酒 瓢箪) an Alcohol container used to contain Booze , Alcohol. I made this after i got inspired from the anime “One piece” and one of the members from Luffy’s crew loves to drink and empty up these Sake gourds yeah, “the Pirate Hunter” Zoro. so, i came up with this.
Hyotan (瓢箪) is the japanese name of the gourd.
