I usually never do fan art, but this one was an exception. I think the look and feel of Barotrauma is great, and it's amazing how the team has captured the atmosphere of underwater horror. It's something that has excited me for a long time, and I would very much like to do a VR horror game set in the bottom of a deep sea. This is a diorama created from one of Jenny Brozek’s concepts ‘The Gate’ found on Artstation. I really loved the concept when I saw it and was desperate to make it in 3D. It was a really nice project to sink time and effort into and I learnt a lot throughout the process. I created the model in Maya, Textured in Substance Painter to get the basic textures and colours down before taking the maps into Photoshop to start the painting process. I appreciate Jenny for letting me make her awesome concept come alive in 3D and I hope you guys like it too :).
