Antaria Online is a cross-platform casual MMORPG developed by Antaria, LLC. This is a large scale project that Thunder Cloud Studio has been handling the full-scale game art production from concept of environment, character, weapon system to smallest details like skills, item icons or game UI. The process required precision, technical setup as well as artistic so that the feeling of the game is unique and eye-candy even it can be run on a very low spec machines and cross platform later. Heavy influenced by Japanese chibi-style from Super Mario DS to Bravely Default, Antaria Online delivers a friendly yet dazzling visual which can easily make people fall in love at first sight and want to conquer every quests available. The goal is to convey the visual requirements of Antaria Online: a JRPG – characterized, lightweight, cannot be outdated easily yet looking as beautiful as possible. I remember when i watched Tangled, The scene that left the deepest impression on me was this scene, the floating lights, the reflection in contrast to the dark of the night and the calm of the lake, it took my breath away and i didn’t even notice they already started singing.
I guess it might be cool to recreate scenes i like in order to also study the reasons i like them :)
