Hi all!
This is a project I’ve been working on for around a week and a half. I was set a project by my University to create a “well” in any style. I’ve always loved how stylized/hand-painted assets look in games such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends etc. So I wanted to take it upon myself to attempt this style. I’m overall happy with the final design, although if I were to spend more time on it, there are a few things I would refine. My entry for the Travelchallenge. Was a blast to work on this, and first time using sketchfab which I must say I’m mighty impressed with.
Utilising zbrush bakes for the base texturing, then a lot of hand painting on top of. Using Sketchfabs post processing to keep the stylised PBR look blending the hand painting elements 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 34060 polygons.

I started this project in order to practice my hand-painting skills as well as some more organic modelling. I used Zbrush, Blender and Substance Painter. I wanted to keep a painterly look, pairing rough brushstrokes and higher detail areas, to create a semi-stylized piece :)
Cormorants are very striking birds and I hope you like my take on this one!
