The Boeslunde Altarpiece Altarpiece with two pairs of wings, made in North Germany ca. 1425. it came to the National Museum from Boeslunde Churh on Sjaeland, but it was probably originally placed in the Carmelite monastery in the nearby town of Skelskør, which was torn down between 1550 and 1560. The Carmelite church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, who is also the central figure on the Boeslunde altarpiece. The colours of the altarpiece are the original ones. Peacewater is home to multiple food-based franchises, most notably Mary’s. However, there’s two other places, with their own food to give variety to the city, both culturally and in numbers!
One of these other locations is Peach & Happiness Palace, a small restaurant that specializes in Asian food, especially bubble tea, sometimes also called “boba”. The drink comes in a special cup, noticeably shorter than the standard restaurant cups of Mary’s. It also comes with a bendy straw and a slightly stronger lid, using plastic around the edges, leaving the weaker papery lid only in its center, where the straw is inserted.

This is one of those projects in mind long time ago wich finally sees the light. But at last, my beloved Pirate is done.
I really love pirate´s stories since I was a kid. Reading a lot about that piece of history, I learned that sometimes is more interesting the real version than the romantic side of it.
In this case, my inspiration waved between the fictional character Sophia of A Plage Tale Requiem, (and her absolutely amazing dismissed concept arts) and the impressive Grace O’Malley (a fiery red headed Irish woman born in Ireland in 1530) who was known as a pirate and a trader that even got to meet Queen Elizabeth I.
Of course, Mary Reed, Anne Bonny, Elaine Marley and Felicia Moreno were also very important for the creative process <3

In Mary and Xane’s world, Xane Corp. owns a restaurant chain named “Mary’s“. Mary enjoys drinking from these cups, most likely due to their cuteness or them having her face on them. The cups used by the restaurant are inspired by both McDonald’s and the old Wendy’s design, the latter very obvious when looking at the cup’s lid.
This is the new version of the cup, modelled using Blender v3.12, using SVG (vector) versions of the lid’s design layers to give the cute Mary’s logo design smoother edges that more accurately resemble its intended appearance, compared to the old model’s “low-resolution” 3D logo. This is also my most accurate and detailed restaurant cup model, with almost every detail from the real disposable cups recreated.
