Mushroooms grown in Gustine California are sold at the Livermore Farmer’s Market. Culinary mushrooms are a gourmet vegan treat that can be served with fish, chicken, pork, beef, noodles, or rice. Frequently they are heated and tossed in enough butter so they do not stick and no more. Once lightly browned the flavors unlock, and once they are a bit dried from being cooked they soak in juices like a sponge.
