Trying out handpainted textures for the #travelchallenge! A regular broomstick just won’t do for a warlock on the go! This deluxe broom is complete with handlebars, a seat, and a friendly familiar. I was going to add cupholders but not sure if that fits with the fantasy theme. Feel free to use this model for anything, it was mostly for practice. All done in Blender. Also, despite what the bottom says, this model is probably not compatible with Unity/Unreal. The broom is all individual objects with their own textures, as that was the fastest and easiest workflow to follow. The file is an absolute mess. If you feel like optimizing it for game engines anyway, feel free to share with credit. Reconstruction of a Roman room in Londinium (Roman London), 1st-2nd century AD. The wall decoration was reconstructed starting from fragments of painted plaster found in Bishopsgate ca.1850, now at the British Museum. The lost parts of the walls were recreated using examples from Verulamium (St Albans) and Colchester. The mosaic selected for this reconstruction was found in Silchester. The krater (vase used to mix wine) at its centre shares the Bacchic theme of the wall paintings, which depict satyrs holding grapes and a thyrsus. All the objects in the room are based on Roman originals. The table in this reconstruction was found in Herculaneum, where it was carbonised during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius (https://bit.ly/2svzzqD ). The lucernae (oil lamps) and wares were reconstructed using Roman artefacts on exhibition at the British Museum, room G49. Hi to everybody again. In this guitar challenge I present this gibson paint. It makes me nostalgic, the musical instruments, there was a time in my life where I did a lot of music. To project mu passion I have done a stylized hell style painting. The work of uvs was additional, for this use blender and manually cut each piece, then rectification of angular and area distortions. For the puzzle use uvpackmaster, separating in 3 materials with 70% coverage of the islands on the texture set, and an optimal texture resolution for real time, prepared for a 4k and two 2k map.
