Used 231 cross polarized photos and processed them in Agisoft Metashape. I sculpted the smooth parts of the model in Blender and then decimated the model in Agisoft and then manually optimized the lowpoly geometry in Blender. UV was also initially generated in Metashape and manually optimized in Blender. PBR maps were created in Substance Painter.

Cairn Liath is an Iron Age broch that sits proudly on a rocky knoll and commands views over a long stretch of coastline. Broch’s are substantial stone towers or roundhouses only found in the far north of Scotland. They were constructed and used between 600 BC and 100 AD.
This broch has a circular interior 10.2m in diameter and substantial walls over 5m thick; there was one entrance passage to the building. The walls survive to 3.66m high, but originally the building would have stood to a considerably height and had higher floors. A staircase to higher levels was built into the wall.
The third Duke of Sutherland ‘cleared’ this broch in 1868 and some of his finds from his antiquarian excavations are preserved in the National Museum of Scotland. Model SC-51 of the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology Collection of Blaschka Marine Invertebrates. This is an ~ 4-inch glass model of a sea anemone (“Phymactis pustulata”). This species of anemone is found in the Western South Atlantic, living in intertidal zones.
The glass model was made by the father-and-son team Rudolf and Leopold Blaschka in the late 1800s. Originally made as educational models, they are now in collections in over 50 institutions including Cornell, the Corning Glass Museum, Harvard and University College, Dublin.
