Sculpture of standing Buddha, made up of a single huge granite stone. This piece of history is located at swayambhunath temple in Kathmandu. Built in 10th century, it is one of the oldest sculpture at swayambhu. It is located at the front side of the hill, on the old route to the stupa. This is a bit of an experiment and still a work in progress. The Smithsonian has a mammoth skeleton for download, http://3d.si.edu/downloads/55 . Mammoths are, of course, relatives of African elephants. But they are more comparable with Indian elephants. Making a skeleton is a a lot of work and I wanted to see if I would be able to take an educated guess and turn the mammoth skeleton into an African (bush) elephant skeleton. I am still going to ask people who know to review it, but for now here it is. I will probably use this slot to upload the updated versions.
