The client wanted me to do model and texture their apartment and let me have fun with it. So I went for a stylised approach. I really wanted it to look like an illustration from any angle which really just allows me to merge both my 2D illustrative skills and 3D skills which brings me so much joy! I started on this a while ago and then forgot about it, but, thankfully to The LORD, I found it again.
This is actually the first half. I had to split it into two parts for performance reasons.
It’s got 38 different cylinders for kitbashing. Sci-fi themed. Some of them pretty basic. Others a bit more complex. Feel free to take a thorough look before you download them and see how it looks.
They have no textures or materials, and have not been properly UV unwrapped.
Also, I made use of Blender’s auto-smooth feature for the object normals. I don’t know if that feature is present in other software.

So here is my first character almost fully sculpted on blender 2.81. It took me a few days to figure out how to represent Kaido on a 3d aspect. I took a basic draw of kaido and started sculpting with it in my background. The sculpting was done by mouse and I would say I worked on the model probably 10 hours in total.
The character has no scar on his body, let’s say this render is representing him before he got it :)
I was mainly focusing on making the best possible Kaido model using my skills, that’s why the background ( representing Onigashima, the residential island of Kaido ) looks this bad.
