My Wild West cowboy is finally finished and I absolutelly love the result! It took me some time to get this as perfect as possible, especially the colours were quite the challenge with this one. For my final assignment character creation I went to the whole pipeline from high poly sculpt to a game-ready, textured model. I didn’t think this would lead to anything good, but i stuck with the few things i had thought out and it came out pretty okay in my opinion. Earlier this week, in the dim light of an overcast evening here in the southeastern United States this tree became the subject of roughly 2 minutes of hasty video scraping with my iPhone.

Houdini was the primary tool used for all geometry work, baking and GLTF export for Sketchfab. The UVs were automatically generated and need more work, but parts of this look great to me so I’m posting it as yet another watermark.
