Two Robot characters I made a while back. Luna is a revised version of a previous character of mine named Sol. Luna is an excitable and fun young girl, while Otto is a laid back and cool detective. These characters exist in a futuristic city, where all the inhabitants are robots. This is my submission for the street food challenge hosted by @rosiejarvis I had a great time making it. My theme is about a fruit vendor cart. I wanted to keep it colorful and simple. This was created with Blender. It was a nice fun challenge and to use sketchfab for presentation. Usually, I stay away from challenges because I never have enough time to finish something and honestly, I feel a little intimidated by the awesome work of other artists. But it’s not all about winning, right? For Sketchfab’s Halloween Challenge I decided to finally get out of my comfort zone and do this little cute and spooky model that is based on Patri Balanovsky’s original concept art (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mlKWY). Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.
